My Darling Soldier | |
| My darling soldier, how I miss you so Your image remains imprinted in my thoughts Your love forever embedded in my heart
You are with me every waking moment With me throughout the night How so, then, could I miss you
I cannot touch a thought or caress a moment I cannot kiss a dream but only dream a kiss. My arms wait for you to wake me from this silence
Waiting to give you all Longing to give a gift, eager to be opened To be held by you forever. | By Roxanne Meade Copyright 2005 Listed 03/28/2005 |
