Thankful

I'm grateful for the unknown names
That molded my today
I'm grateful for the names I know of some
Who believed in the power to PRAY

I'd like to honor them and list each one
Back along the line
Who I know as the family of my past
Relatives of mine

I sit here now before you
Allowed to scribe my thoughts of faith
With a freedom not known anywhere on earth
Except in this wonderful place

I cringe to think
What their reaction would be
At the distortion of freedom
Which they labored and gave their lives to see

I detest the fact that in our land
Things are so much out of hand
We allow the burning of the banner, under which they fought
Its scandalous what today's freedom has wrought

We're fast becoming the dumping ground for men
Who know neither freedom nor truth which we defend
For freedom, if not linked to GOD given truth
Will corrupt a Nation and destroy its youth

We are "One Nation Under God"
This soil on which we now allow you to trod
Our founding fathers believed in prayer
And sought GODS BLESSING and asked HIM to be there

At the stoke of every pen or word
Before the Declaration to the World would be heard
Written in English because that's where it would all start
As GOD directed men with conscience, as HE spoke to their hearts

And I am appalled at you who think our language should change
Wanting us to give allegiance in some other name
If you truly desire to be one of us
Learn well the phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST"

We owe you NOTHING
And you're fortunate to be
Allowed to reside in this
"THE LAND OF THE BRAVE & FREE"

So if you intend to be a part of America, my friend
Learn our language and let's put to an end
The notion that we must conform to you
Who know nothing of what our forefathers went through

If not, I strongly suggest you return from whence you came
And serve Allah or any other chosen name
But don't expect me to applaud you friend
When you attempt to bring America to its end

I tell you we're at the midnight hour
And we better return to the only power
That can redeem us from many evil men
Who say they have our good in mind, but only pretend

We must seek the true Author and Finisher of America's trust
THEE GOD who created each of us
Seek HIS FACE in fervent Prayer
Letting HIM know we truly care

And we will not stand idly by
Without expressing first our heart felt cry
On behalf of all who have gone before
In spirit and truth so America could be more

Than any Nation before it ever conceived
Because of a firm stand; to in our SAVIOUR believe
Knowing with GODS help, only GOD knew what was in store
For this Nation which welcomes sincere seekers through its doors

But this is meant for seekers of light and truth
Not for those who come to destroy from within, our youth
Attempting to change factually written history, which is ours
Hoping to subjugate and rewrite it; to gain their power

"YES"

I'm grateful for the unknown names
That molded my today
I'm grateful for the names I know of some
Who believed in the power to PRAY
