| Prayer for America's Righteousness |  |
| Oh Lord, we humbly come before you
To lay our petitions at your feet
Father God, you are so compassionate and loving
As we bow before the mercy seat.
In fervent prayer, we gather, one and all
Not to murmur or complain
But to pray for this country in these last days to save
America from destruction
Before you come back to earth and reign.
It says in your word that if we repent our land you will save
I am here to pray forgiveness for sins my nation has done,
So we may we be a testimony to other nations
That we serve a God of forgiveness through His Son.
This nation needs a leader of high morals and integrity
Who is willing to put self aside and pray
Giving back to this country what its forefathers established
A firm foundation in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
the real Truth, Life, and Way.
We ask you to give our president-to-be
A loving heart, openness and godly pursuit
Of your will, O God, to be established
So this country will continue to always bear fruit.
We ask for your protection upon America from
Threats of assailants who choose to intimidate
Carrying out brutal and aggressive acts of mutilation.
So, our hearts go out to the people losing loved ones
Through senseless and horrific acts against your creation.
We also ask for protection upon our armed forces
As they serve America in far-off land and sea.
War will change them physically and emotionally
As they give up security of family and home
To serve their country faithfully.
Now, oh gracious loving Father
We serve a God who hears each and every prayer
You are the commander and chief of this great nation
