| He came as a thief in the light of day Safe and secure was torn away America's spirit cannot be broken Our heroes cries left nothing unspoken Let's bow our heads and say a prayer For hate and envy have polluted the air.
America, she's Changed Her value's rearranged Freedom's colors we proudly wave Lady Liberty we vow to save.
With a mighty voice we heard the eagles call That America will forever stand proud and tall In God we trust for justice to prevail As our servicemen fight and our navy men sail Comfort them guide them as they try to save The land of the free and the home of the brave.
As the eagles wings spread across the land I can hear the drums of our soldier's bands Pride heals the scar where my heart was tore As I look to the sky and see that great eagle soar.
With newness of strength we seek Gods grace Prayer once again has found it's place Let brotherly love unite us without toil And God be the foundation for the eagles soil.
Fly dear flag o'er land and sea's Flutter your stars and stripes in the breeze Protect our land we hold so dear As we pledge allegiance without any fear. | By Debbie Buxton Copyright 2002 |
