May God Bless America | |

May God bless America and its heroes brave and true,
who love our land, America, and our Red, White and Blue,
and honor it with service, befitting of the cause
Of liberty and freedom, defending America's laws.
And may we never ever, forget the sacrifice So many
made on the battlefields which truly did suffice,
Which kept our America, a land of freedom here, For
all who love and honor it, and pause to give a cheer,
When the flag, Old Glory's on parade or in the
battlefield, Representing our cause that's just, and
never did they yield
But kept the vigil night and day
to win the victory, And also win the battle for our
sweet liberty.
God bless this land, America, and
our Red, White and Blue, And all who love our country,
and our sweet liberty, too,
And may He bless the men
and women, the present and the past, Who've given it
their last measure, devoted to the last. | By James H. Lee, Jr. Copyright 2011
