For My Country | |
|
As an American,
I stand with my right hand;
I pledge to defend America, my land
against every violent hand.
I believe as a patriot
it's both my duty and responsibility
to fight for my country.
I am not doing it for my race
but for this great place
whom I dearly embrace.
I am an American not by lips, but by heart everyday.
A true American citizen, yes I'm proud to say.
A true American citizen, yes I'm proud to stay.
My life is not Sufficient to pay
for all my country has done for me.
I am who I am because of my country. |
