It's great when we have a big
bar-b-queue
Food and games give us lots to do
Hot
dogs and burgers, soda and chips
Oranges and grapes get
crammed through our lips
This awesome day settles
down with a rest
Day turns to night for the fun we like
best
Noisy whistles and booms blast loud in dark
skies
Magic rainbow showers reflect in our eyes
It
ends too soon! That’s such a bummer
America’s birthday
won't come 'til next summer
