America Is

America is freedom.
It is being able to live without fear.
America is opportunity.
It is being able to achieve your dreams.
 
America is blessed.
It is having clean water and safe homes.
America is hard work.
It is proving what determination can do.
 
America is acceptance.
It is allowing you to truly be yourself.
America is faith.
It is hoping for the best possible future.
 
America is love.
It is curing diseases and taking in the homeless.
America is one.
It is grieving and celebrating together.
 
America is mine.
And it will stay forever in my heart.
