America, America,
How I love you so,
Were richly blessed from up above,
Where all good blessings flow.
What other land upon this earth,
Like ours could ever be,
Were duty bound and ready to fight,
From sea to shining sea.
She has conquered lands around the world,
In great and numerous wars,
Let freedom ring for everyone,
From shore to gleaming shore.
Her gallant men strong and true,
Bear arms to keep her safe,
Old glory flies in distant lands,
None can take her place.
Her brave young men in foreign lands,
Go forth that freedom may flow,
That this great land may forever stand,
America, America, how I love you so. | By Franklin C. Spriggs
