Petty Officer 2nd Class Nimitz Martin hugs his son in San Diego,
Sept. 16, 2011, after returning from a six-month deployment to
Central and South America to support Southern Seas 2011.
Martin is a ship's serviceman assigned to the guided-missile frigate
USS Thach, which participated in three major exercises and made 18
port visits in seven countries.
