Mineman 3rd Class Thomas Goddard is reunited with his wife and their son after the mine countermeasures ship USS Chief (MCM 14) transited from Ingleside, Texas to San Diego.

Chief is one of eight mine countermeasures ships shifting homeports with Commander, Mine Countermeasure Squadron(COMCMRON).
