Girl Scouts of Tejas Council, Dallas, Texas area, for the third year, conducted Project Troop to Troop. During Girl Scout Cookie sales, Girl Scouts take orders for boxes of cookies to be sent to our military troops around the world. March 24, 2007, was "D-Day", Delivery Day, at a local mall. FedEx, troops from Ft. Hood, TX and the local Girl Scouts delivered more than 90,000 cases of cookies to be sent to our military bases around the world, with most going to Iraq. Photo provided by
