Patrol Boat Conducts Weapons Sustainment May 17, 2020
April 16, 2020 - Sailors, assigned to Commander Task Force 56 (CTF 56), participate in a weapons sustainment exercise aboard a Mark VI Patrol Boat in the Arabian Gulf. The activities include launching an RQ-20B PUMA Unmanned Aerial System and live-fire at a floating "killer tomato" target placed in the water by sailors (center image). CTF 56 is responsible for the planning and execution of expeditionary missions including coastal riverine operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
