Klipper Ceremony Honoring WWII Pearl Harbor Fallen December 7, 2019
December 7, 2019 - U.S. Marines and Sailors honor the 17 U.S. Navy Sailors and two civilian contractors, who died during the attack on Naval Air Station Kaneohe Bay on December 7, 1941 during the annual ceremony at the Klipper Memorial on Marine Corps Base Hawaii. The remembrance ceremony at the memorial that was dedicated in 1981 to these fallen ... included the ringing of a bell for the ones who gave their lives; a wreath laying; the traditional 21-gun salute; and, a solemn hand salute ... all honoring their ultimate scarifice.
