WWII POW Lt. Crotty's Full Honors Burial November 3, 2019
November 2, 2019 - The U.S. Coast Guard Ceremonial Honor Guard begins the flag-folding ceremony as part of the full military honors burial for Lt. Thomas Crotty, a USCG POW, in Buffalo, New York. Crotty was taken prisoner following the defense of the Philippines in World War II and later died in a Japanese prisoner of war camp. His remains were recently identified by the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency.
