Tall Ship Eagle Anchors Near Statue of Liberty August 23, 2019
August 15, 2019 - U.S. Coast Guard Barque Eagle (WIX 327), proudly flying Old Glory, drops anchor near the Statue of Liberty upon arrival in New York City. Eagle is a tall ship used as a training platform for future Coast Guard Academy officers as well as vessel for establishing and maintaining domestic and international relationships.
