Solo Tank Drenching July 24, 2019
July 15, 2019 - 2nd Lt. Corey Persons, 71st Student Squadron, student pilot, is thrown into a solo tank by 2nd Lt. Graham McAninich, 71st SS, student pilot and 2nd Lt. Kyle Blanchette, 71st SS, student pilot, at Vance Air Force Base, Oklahoma. It is Air Force tradition to be thrown into the solo tank upon completion of a student pilot’s first solo flight.
