Women In Engineering Day May 12, 2019
May 6, 2019 - Coast Guard Cutter Douglas Munro (WHEC 724) female crew members with a group of Kodiak High School female students during a women in engineering day aboard the cutter in Kodiak, Alaska. Students were given a tour of the engine room, a welding demonstration, hands-on electrical troubleshooting training, and the opportunity to try their hands at saving the ship in the event of an emergency by learning damage control skills.
