Marines Search and Recover January 31, 2019
January 7, 2019 - Marines assigned to Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), search for and recover a simulated isolated person for a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel mission during exercise Alexander the Great (ATG19) in Volos, Greece. ATG19 is a bilateral security cooperation training exercise involving primarily Hellenic marines from the 32nd Marine Brigade and U.S. Marines from Battalion Landing Team, 1st Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 22nd MEU.
