Marines Celebrate Corps Birthday & Provide Relief After Typhoon November 13, 2018 November 10, 2018 - A cutout silhouette stands at the Veteran’s memorial park during the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and Combat Logistics Battalion 31 U.S. Marine Corps 243rd Birthday ceremony on Tinian, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. All the Marines taking part in the relief efforts here in the wake of Super Typhoon Yutu missed the traditional Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Okinawa, Japan, where both the 31st MEU and CLB-31 are garrisoned.
