USS Wasp Sails In Philippine Sea August 26, 2018
August 26, 2018 - The amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1) sails in the Philippine Sea during a Passing Exercise (PASSEX) with the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force. PASSEX enabled the Wasp ARG and the JMSDF a chance to practice communications and maneuvering procedures. The Wasp Amphibious Ready Group is operating in the region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
