June 30, 2017 - Service members and civilians assigned to U.S. Naval Activities Spain stand at attention during the annual flag raising ceremony at Naval Station Rota. Naval Station Rota is only permitted to fly the American flag with special permission from the Spanish base commander. Naval Station Rota enables and supports operations of U.S. and allied forces and provides quality services in support of the fleet, fighter and family for Navy Installations Command in Navy Region Europe, Africa, Southwest Asia.
