August 7, 2016 - Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) steams through the Pacific Ocean as Sailors, family and friends gather to watch an air and sea power demonstration. The demonstration was part of a schedule of events put together for a tiger cruise, an opportunity for Sailors to invite their family and friends to experience life underway aboard a Navy ship. Providing a combat-ready force to protect collective maritime interests, John C. Stennis is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment.
