April 11, 2016 - U.S. Marines with Fox Battery, 2nd Battalion, 10th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division fire a M777A2 Howitzer during an assault support tactics at Fire Burt Base, Chocolate Mountain Aerial Gunnery Range, California. The exercise was conducted during Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 2-16. WTI is a seven week training event hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) cadre. MAWTS-1 provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine Aviation Training and Readiness and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
