Collectibles, apparel, and other gifts ... for Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and veterans!

U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Allen J. Chapman, a primary marksmanship instructor, corrects the firing position of Rct. Jason K. Hunt, Platoon 2086, Golf Company, 2nd Recruit Training Battalion, on Sept. 9, 2015, on Parris Island, S.C. For one week, recruits learn and practice the fundamentals of marksmanship before shooting live rounds the following week. Chapman, 23, is from Augusta, Ga. Hunt, 20, from Warner Robins, Ga., is scheduled to graduate Oct. 23, 2015. Parris Island has been the site of Marine Corps recruit training since Nov. 1, 1915. Today, approximately 20,000 recruits come to Parris Island annually for the chance to become United States Marines by enduring 13 weeks of rigorous, transformative training. Parris Island is home to entry-level enlisted training for approximately 50 percent of males and 100 percent of females in the Marine Corps. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Vanessa Austin)
