July 19, 2015 - Families and friends watch as the amphibious transport dock ship USS New York (LPD 21) arrives at its home port at Naval Station Mayport after completing a seven-month deployment. New York, part of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group, with the embarked 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (24th MEU), supported maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operations.
