Dec. 20, 2013 - The Virginia-class attack submarine USS Missouri (SSN 780) makes her way up the Thames River and home to Submarine Base New London in Groton, Conn., after completing its first overseas deployment. Missouri departed Groton on June 18th for a scheduled six-month deployment during which she operated in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility. (U.S. Navy photo by John Narewski)
