September 2, 2013 - Several crew members who were on board the USS Missouri during the signing of the Instrument of Surrender and the artists who created the nine-foot bronze sculpture of Fleet Admiral Chester Nimitz. Nimitz, take part in a traditional Hawaiian blessing for the statute of the commander in chief for the U.S. Pacific Fleet from Dec. 31, 1941, to Nov. 24, 1945.
