PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 5, 2012) Ensign Ian Schnur, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85), serves as conning officer during a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS John Ericsson (T-AO-194).

McCampbell is part of the George Washington Carrier Strike Group, the U.S. Navy's only forward deployed carrier strike group, based out of Yokosuka, Japan, and is conducting a routine Western Pacific patrol.
