The squadron completed a seven-month deployment aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman, providing close air support, armed overwatch, electronic warfare, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance over Afghanistan in support of operations Enduring Freedom and New Dawn.
