This PortSTEP exercise, hosted by the Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration, focused on the restoration of the rail, highway, and waterway transportation systems following a simulated terrorist explosion at the Bridgeport Ferry Terminal.

Over 100 officials representing as many as 30 federal, state and local agencies and industry partners from Conn. and NY participated in the exercise at the Bridgeport Holiday Inn to further develop the Area Maritime Security Plan.
