AR RAMADI, Iraq – Two Marines from Company I examine a roll of film found while patrolling through the streets and alleyways of southern Ar Ramadi during Operation Bowie Oct. 4.

The operation was a cooperative effort between the Iraqi Security Force, the Army and the Marine Corps to capture and disrupt insurgent activities in the city during the weeks leading up to the constitutional referendum.

CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq – The Marines of 3rd Platoon, Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, stand triumphant at Camp Fallujah after a few days rest following a three-hour firefight with insurgents on Oct. 2.
