"We Were Giants" is dedicated to the men and women who fought and survived World War II ... and those whose lives were lost.
Clay Reston... I've always had an interest in the World War II era and the individual
and combined effort it took to see the country through it. When this song
started coming to me, I realized it was a reaction to the fact that we are
losing veterans of that conflict at an accelerating pace - and that many did not
live to see their efforts memorialized by the monument in Washington.
