About John Dato Valentine
John
Dato Valentine learned to play the drums at an early
age, and played in several local bands before
falling in love with the guitar at age
eighteen. He taught himself to play and began
composing songs.
From the guitar, he
moved on to the piano and sequencer, which enhanced
his songwriting and recording skills. He has
written over two hundred songs, from folk to rock;
from reggae to contemporary Christian.
John
has written and recorded over a dozen CD's for
Talking Scriptures and The Lutheran Tape
Ministry. His music has been heard in over sixty
five countries worldwide.
