The Spirit of America is a FREE, patriotic,
live-action show that tells the history of our nation
through the eyes of the American Soldier. It features
performances by more than 300 active-duty Soldiers from
The 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and The
U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" . . .
including amazing ones by the U.S. Army Drill Team.
The show hopes to
inform, entertain and inspire audiences of all ages with
a unique combination of stirring music, historical
narration and live action dramatization.
Spirit of America is the true story of men and women who
have left friends and families behind to protect and
defend the United States of America. Spirit of America
commemorates the brave actions of ordinary men and women
who preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.
So, sit
back and experience the very inspiring, enjoyable 2011 U.S.
Army's Spirit of America concert performed on September
9th and 10th in the cities of Washington, D.C., North
Charleston, S.C., and Jacksonville, Fla.
