Upon hearing the news of Osama bin Laden's death, the Gatlin Brothers knew it was time to release their patriotic “Americans, That's Who” to radio.
“When I wrote 'Americans, That's Who,' high above the Mojave Desert, in a plane on the way to Vegas, I believed in my heart that it was a special song," notes Larry Gatlin. "That belief was confirmed later that night when Steve and Rudy and I sang it for the first time at the Boulder Station Casino. People stood up and started clapping, singing and swaying along with us. It happens every time we sing it, which is every night. We have waited for the right time to release it and we believe that the time is now. Way to go Seal Team Six! Who are the members of Seal Team Six? Americans, That's Who!"
I had the privilege of seeing The Gatlin Brothers'
moving live performance of “Americans, That's Who”
(below) during the Branson 2010 Veterans Week opening
ceremony on November 5, 2010. These patriot, singers
received a rousing standing ovation . . . And Larry
