I hope you spend at least a few minutes on this Patriot Day . . . the eighth anniversary of the three deadly terrorists attacks on September 11, 2001 . . . in prayerful thought for the innocent ones and the brave responders who lost their lives . . . and the same for all the fallen and wounded troops who did their valiant best for all of us since this very sad day.

Then please take the time to read the article, “Marine Recalls 9/11 Enlistment Decision”, about Justin D. Toren (photo left) . . . a dedicated young man whose reason represents so many others who responded similarly in reaction to these attacks.  And oh, what a wonderful and inspiring show of one's love and pride of America, coming to Her defense in a united effort to defeat those who attacked our beloved homeland and killing thousands of innocent fellow Americans.

Nor should any of us become complacent . . . as the last thing every American should want is having to remember another terrorist attack that could even be worse than September 11, 2001. (See my poem, That September Day)
