 Dear Fellow Patriot,
While I founded USA Patriotism! five years ago in response to the unforgettable, horrendous terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 and understanding what that would most likely mean for my youngest son, who was serving in the Marines . . . I never gave thought (or had any concern) back then about how much of my time this patriotic effort would require.
Well, it soon became a full-time effort with some days and weeks wishing for a few more hours and days, respectively. Nor has there ever been any regrets.
You see... It quickly became my priority (after my family) . . . as I firmly believe in the importance of its mission to foster love and pride of the USA from the oldest to the youngest American along with developing a better understanding and friendlier attitude about the USA from citizens of other countries.Moreover, it is my hope that USA Patriotism! will be around long after I am summoned by God to enjoy His divine presence. So, expect USA Patriotism! to continue to add more patriotic content, evolving with the times, and reacting to events . . . but never changing its mission! (Its only limits will be time on any given day and the financial ability to do more.)
I also want to thank again all those who have contributed content to USA Patriotism! And sincere appreciation is a daily thought for those patriot friends who have assisted USA Patriotism! (me too) directly or in their own patriotic way.
Then there are the great patriots, including troops and veterans, who I would have never met without being the founder of USA Patriotism! And some of my most fond memories are very emotional ones too, as they involve loved ones of our brave fallen.
I hope you continue to remain strong in your love and pride of America . . . displaying it on a regular basis and not just on national holidays . . . and making others aware of USA Patriotism! as your time allows.
Now, please take a few minutes to read my new poem, Heroes Gone, as it underscores one of America's greatest strengths... citizens answering Her call since 1776.
