| For many years there has been a Blue Star Service Flag honoring members of the armed forces and for many years there has been a Gold Star Service Flag honoring our fallen. But until now there has been no Service Flag for our wounded. I proudly announce the formation of the Silver Star Families of America.
The SSFOA was formed for one simple reason and that is to honor, remember, help and pay respect to our wounded armed forces members and their families in any way we can. The Silver Star Families of America have developed and copyrighted a new Flag designed for just this purpose.
This flag is now in the production stage and will soon to available for purchase.
We invite each and every one of you who care about remembering and helping our wounded soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines, to join our group. We especially would like the family members of wounded to join us. You can go to our web page at: http://steven.newton6.home.att.net/ and read about us, then please join us on Yahoo for our open discussion group. We have a Chaplain who is available and all our members are there to help and encourage each other. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SilverStarFamiliesofAmerica/.
I wish to thank all of you for your help and prayers in forming this wonderful new organization. May God continue to bless the United States of America. | Steven J. Newton
