 American citizens very
familiar with an adult American (past or present) who has continually exhibited a love and pride of the USA through
patriotic efforts that have
contributed significantly to the good of our beloved, great
country are encouraged to nominate this
individual.
It can even be a
family member, friend, employee, or
another representative can. Historians are also invited to do
so. (You just cannot nominate
yourself.)
And remember that nominating a deserving American is
not about one's status and/or popularity, but the totality of noble patriotic
efforts relative to individual means and ability with the same
relentless fervor that is an inspiration to fellow generations! It is
also advisable to read about those already honored as a
Great American Patriot before
nominating an individual who you
believe is deserving. (Visit
Patriots Hall of Honor to determine if it is more
applicable.)
Moreover, please make
sure that you provide all the required
information to avoid the nominee not being considered. (Additional information, including photos
and mailing address will be requested if a
nominee is selected, which can take up to 2 months.)
Military Service Rule... While USA Patriotism! pays
tribute to troops and veterans in many areas of its site and
respects all for their brave, honorable service . . . military
service alone, no matter how noble, doesn't qualify an
individual for Great American Patriot nomination.
Significant patriotic efforts outside one's military duties are
required.
