Service members, city and state
officials and citizens of San Francisco gathered to
honor veterans by presenting the San Francisco Veterans
Memorial on October 10, 2014. The ceremony was held
during San Francisco Fleet Week 2014. The memorial was a
promise made by the city to its veterans over 82 years
ago and has now become a reality.
