Army SSgt. Mark R. De Alencar - Dignified Transfer
April 10, 2017 - A U.S. Army carry team transfers the
remains of Army Staff Sgt. Mark R. De Alencar at Dover Air Force Base, Delaware. Staff Sgt. Mark De Alencar
(37) a Special Forces soldier died on April 8, 2017 in Nangarhar
Province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when his unit came in
contact with enemy forces using small arms fire during combat
operations. He was assigned to 1st Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group
(Airborne), Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.
