Military Order of the Purple Heart

It is specifically a combat decoration ... The Military Order of the Purple Heart, a (501(c)3 organization, was formed for the protection and mutual interest of all who have received the decoration. Composed exclusively of Purple Heart recipients, it is the only veterans service organization comprised strictly of "combat" veterans.
National D-Day Memorial Foundation
Its mission is to preserve the lessons and legacy of D-Day. The Foundation maintains and operates the National D-Day Memorial in direct support of that educational mission. In so doing, the Foundation (1) ensures the integrity and security of our nation's memorial to the valor, fidelity, and sacrifice of the Allied Forces on D-Day, 6 June 1944; (2) promotes recognition of the character traits undergirding the Allied effort on D-Day; and (3) sponsors commemorations, programs, projects, and exhibitions that foster appreciation of D-Day's historical and residual significance. Old Glory Honor Flight
Our mission is to offer our local World War II veterans a memorable, safe and rewarding tour of honor to our nation's capitol. It's a whirlwind tour. This trip happens all in one day and is completely free of charge to the vet! It's our small way to say 'thank you' for their service and sacrifices to this great country. We are also dedicated to making this trip as safe as possible. Trained volunteer 'guardians' are assigned to accompany every veteran. For added safety, we travel with volunteer medical professionals.
Operation First Response (OFR)
OFR is a 501 (c) 3 Tax Exempt nonprofit organization. . . with at mission to support our nation's wounded Heroes and their families with personal and financial needs . . . OFR is committed to doing all that it can to support these families.
Provides emergency assistance and morale to our troops, to the families they leave behind and to wounded warriors when they return home. A nonprofit 501(c)(3), Operation Homefront leads more than 4,500 volunteers in 30 chapters nationwide and has provided critical assistance to more than 45,000 military families in need. Operation Homefront also operates an online magazine for military wives and women in uniform. Through this community, we reach the newest and youngest military families, instantly alerting them about our programs and other information to help them succeed in military life.
Operation Military Embrace (OME)
A Christ-centered 501(c)(3) military-support charity ... dedicated to ensuring that OIF (Iraq) and OEF (Afghanistan) veterans and all who served during this period of war are not treated with hostility and disrespect as were those who served with honor and distinction in Vietnam. OME achieves this objective through the grace of God by working to increase public awareness regarding the challenges faced by America's military and their families while providing financial assistance; direct support via the nation's only free PX (Post Exchange); motivational activities; and, programs for seriously wounded, ill or injured service members and their families across all of America's combat arms for up to 10 years after EAS/discharge.

A nonprofit 501(c)(3) charity strives to build and sustain the morale and well being of the military community, past and present, with the assurance that the American public supports and appreciates their selfless service and daily sacrifices. It provides support to members of the military community through our Active-Duty "Wish-List" program ... and expanded services with "Welcome Home," its veteran support program ... providing much needed assistance to veterans and their families in need.
