Gold Star Wives of America
A dedicated 501(c)3 organization consisting of the widows/widowers whose spouses died while serving in the Armed Forces of the United States, or as result of service-connected disabilities ... Each legislative session of Congress brings up new legislation directly pertaining to military survivors. Members of Gold Star Wives appear before various House and Senate Committees on issues concerning compensation, educational benefits, medical care and other programs pertaining to the welfare of military survivors. We believe surviving spouses and dependent children need an organization dedicated solely to their needs, concerns, and welfare. We believe that United we are stronger, and that together we stand and divided we fall and are forgotten.
Healing Heroes Network
A 501(c)( )3 nonprofit organization committed to healing America's heroes by providing financial assistance for quality medical care to the men and women of the armed forces injured in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan, on or after 9/11/2001. Our nationwide network of medical professionals willing to provide services, along with donations from our generous supporters, enables HHN to treat these brave warriors free of charge, for services not covered or delayed under the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs benefit systems.
Helping A Hero

Our principal activity is to provide specially adapted homes for qualifying service members as well as engaging the community to provide services and resources for our wounded heroes and their families.

Honor Flight Chicago
A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring Chicagoland's WWII veterans by flying them all expense paid to Washington D.C. to reflect at their memorial, as many were no longer financially or physically able to do so. Additionally, HFC helps to bridge the generations by inviting families, schools and entire communities to participate in Send Offs, Mail Call, Welcome home Celebrations, Parades and Honor Flight Chicago Reunions.

Honoring Americas Warriors
A 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the physical, mental, and spiritual wellness services to our nation's heroes. Honoring Americas Warriors (HAW) provides 10 man teams of Iraq and Afghanistan disabled combat veterans, in service dress uniform, for full military funeral honors for our brave that have served this country. HAW also provides direct support to our nation's heroes in the areas of outdoor sporting activities, mental health and spiritual wellness, family and couples gatherings, employment as well as promote community awareness of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI). HAW works with community leaders, elected officials and legislators, and other non-profit organizations to enhance veteran's awareness and promote veteran's initiatives.
Hopes and Dreams Riding Facility
A 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that treats U.S. veterans struggling with Post Traumatic Stress and/or Traumatic Brain Injury. Nestled in the woods of South Georgia, vets receive a 90 day treatment program which includes... Mental Health Counseling, Substance Abuse Counseling, Peer Counseling, Equestrian Therapy and Canine Therapy. Vets enjoy hunting, fishing, boating and more. Our focus is reintegration back into society with continued support.
Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund
Assists the families of our nation's fallen heroes killed in the performance of their duty . . . These families must now face their future without a husband or wife or father or mother. In addition to their grief, many of them must also address the questions of finding work, where to live, how to raise their children, how to provide for their education, and even how to get food on the table. They need our help today!
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA)
501(c)(3) organization with a mission to improve the lives of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families. IAVA addresses critical issues facing new veterans and their families, including mental health injuries, a stretched VA system, inadequate health care for female veterans, and GI Bill educational benefits. IAVA also provides valuable resources and empowers veterans to connect with one another, fostering a strong and lasting community.
